For 24 years I was the sex and relationship columnist for The Toronto Sun newspaper and was the first female sex columnist in Canada. For two years I was the host of the very successful, hour-long, live television show Dear Valerie on Rogers TV where I personally answered people's sex and relationship problems instantly with realistic honesty they could apply to their everyday lives. As a recognized expert in the field of personal dating I assist people to overcome the drawbacks and difficulties of finding that special person.
I'm also the internationally recognized expert on the subject of "Cougars" - sexy, sophisticated. independent, single women who prefer to date younger men.
I launched this social phenomenon with my best-selling book Cougar, A Guide for Older Women Dating Younger Men, a fun, entertaining and informative read about a trend that has swept the world.
